Squeaky in Ludington

The Kents won two games and the tournament at White Pine village on Saturday. They defeated the Fallassburgh Flats 6-5 in a well-played, strongly contested match when Dan “Private” Ryan beat out a low throw to first in the bottom of the 9th inning, driving in Justin “Big Dutch” Buiter from the third sack with the winning run.

The second match was equally close with the Kents leading the Ludington Mariners 6-5 after 7 inning. The Kents scored 8 aces in their last two innings to make the final score 14-5.

Led by Justin “Big Dutch” Buiter and Dave “Spare Parts” Ringler who hit several long drives to center- and right field, the Kents hit well throughout their lineup in both games.
